In the fourth quarter of 2022, the food and drink app market in the Dominican Republic saw notable activity among the top five Android applications. Here’s a closer look at the performance of these apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.

PedidosYa - Delivery Online experienced a fluctuating trend in weekly downloads, starting with around 6.3K downloads at the end of September and peaking at approximately 9.8K in mid-December. Active users showed a slight increase from 178K to 187K by early December, followed by a decline to around 166K by the end of the quarter.

TaDa Delivery de Bebidas RD saw a significant spike in weekly downloads, particularly in the first week of November with over 34K downloads. Following this peak, the downloads gradually decreased, ending the quarter with around 1.8K downloads.

DiDi Food: Express Delivery showed a declining trend in weekly downloads, starting from around 5.6K in late September and dropping to approximately 800 by the end of December. The app's active users also saw a decrease from around 51K to 41K over the same period.
